Who we are

Hi, we’re Megan and Sean Harper and we’re building our dream.

We have always been obsessed with houses, and finally have the opportunity to build something of our own from the ground up.

In 2018 we remodeled our first house together. Making design decisions as a couple is not easy, but our different likes, dislikes and point of view only strengthen our end results. We taught ourselves how to do so many projects, with the grand finale being the wrap around porch Sean built from scratch. It was a true passion project and it left us tired, but yearning for more.

Prior to the house remodel, we invested heavily in our property. We had the space (1.6 acres) to hold our wedding, and figured, why spend money on a venue when you can invest it back into your home? With the help of friends and family, we transformed the overgrown, ramshackle grounds into a beautiful, serene, oasis. To be honest, we miss the land more than the house, and are so excited to get started anew.

So, our latest adventure. Ten wooded acres in the piedmont of North Carolina. It won’t be easy, but we’ll do it together. Stay tuned.
